Join Brooke Singer and her collaborators in Carbon Sponge this summer to enjoy the garden and discuss the project.
On August 25, Sara Perl Egendorf, one of the soil scientist collaborators on Carbon Sponge, will be on site. Perl will bring her mobile sewing lab to the garden to demonstrate sewing lab coats using DIY patterns. She will discuss science as 3D creative processes and the design of the Carbon Sponge soil study.
Also, Carbon Sponge collaborators Maha Deeb and Sumak K. will be joining Brooke on August 25 to harvest plants for field and lab analysis.
Tours will take place on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons throughout the summer. The exact dates and times are: Tuesdays: June 19, July 17 and July 24 from 12-2pm & Saturdays: June 16 and August 25 from 12-2pm.
